Earlier, Nguyen Thi Anh faced Thailand’s Waritsana Tongma in the women’s 42kg final match, losing the bout, but earning a silver medal. Additionally, Tran Thi Lua lost to Canada’s Foden Savannah during the finals of the women’s 57kg to win a silver medal.
