Quach Thi Hoai (red jersey) defeated Merve Saglam of Turkey to win a gold medal. Quach Thi Hoai defeated Merve Saglam of Turkey in the women’s 54kg contest, fought in the Thai capital city of Bangkok, to win a gold medal. Earlier, Nguyen Thi Anh faced Thailand’s Waritsana Tongma in the women’s 42kg final match, losing the bout, but earning a silver medal. Additionally, Tran Thi Lua lost to Canada’s Foden Savannah during the finals of the women’s 57kg to win a silver medal.
