Vu Thi Chinh, a Hanoi 12th grader, won one of 23 gold medals awarded this year at the first Olympiad hosted by Vietnam. Another student from Hanoi won the silver medal and two others from Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa Provinces won the bronze medals.
