Vietnam to help Laos hold training courses for NA deputiesVietnam will continue to work closely with Laos in building a draft agreement on supporting Laos in organising training courses for deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils in the 2016-2020 period. For her part, the top Lao legislator said that her country hopes to learn from Vietnam’s experience in operating a NA, especially in law building. Tran Van Tuy, head of the NA Committee for Deputy Affairs (L) and Laos’ NA Chairwoman Pany Yathotou. She lauded the visit of the Vietnamese delegation, as well as experience they shared, which contributes to improving the capacity of Lao deputies to the NA and People’s Councils at all levels. She thanked Vietnam’s NA for sending a delegation to share experience with Laos , while expressing hope that in the future, the two sides will further foster cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of law building in both countries.
