The suspension of the taxes will reduce revenue for state coffers by 7.2 trillion dong ($270 million) a month, the ministry said. Fuel prices in Vietnam have surged since the United States-Israel war on Iran began at the end of February, with gasoline prices up 21% and diesel prices rising 84%, according to data from top fuel trader Petrolimex.
