Police in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam have busted a massive drug ring, arresting 11 traffickers. The investigation began in December last year, when investigators detected signs of an extensive drug trafficking network operating in the province. Adhering to a strategy of dismantling the network in its entirety rather than targeting individuals, officers carefully prepared an operational plan. Preliminary findings indicated that C. and his associates were responsible for trafficking some 20 kilograms of methamphetamine. Officers are continuing to expand the investigation and handle the traffickers in accordance with the law.
