Vietnam joins Asian-Pacific travel mart in IndonesiaVietnam is showing its reforms and progress in tourism industry at the Pacific Asia Travel Association travel mart, which was officially opened in Indonesia’s Banten province on September 8. The pavilion of Vietnam at the travel martThe travel trade show, a leader of its kind in Asia-Pacific, attracts more than 1,000 delegates from over 60 countries around the world. It is held in different destinations annually and aims to introduce tourism products and services in Asian-Pacific markets. The Vietnamese delegation to the event includes officials of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and six travel companies. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Office Manager at the ministry, said Vietnam participates in the travel mart every year.
