The Việt Nam News Agency won one first, one second, one third, and one consolation prizes. Runners may use their results at this marathon to register for the World Marathon Majors Age Group Championships - a global organisation with six of the most prestigious marathons worldwide (Six Majors), including the New York Marathon, Chicago Marathon, London Marathon, Boston Marathon, Tokyo Marathon, and Berlin Marathon. Turning Việt Nam into a favourite destination for athletes worldwide is one key factor to developing Việt Nam’s tourism sustainably. To implement the plan, the management board will promote cooperation with localities in Việt Nam and major international markets. Việt Nam was the first country outside Japan to implement the programme in 2015 under the name 'Mizuiku - I Love Clean Water.'
