President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil acknowledged contributions of the Vietnamese community to the Czech Republic and Vietnam. So far, they have donated and sent more than 5.7 billion VND to the storm-affected people in Vietnam./. Several architectural landmarks opened their doors to the public for the first time, including the University of Science under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (former University of Hanoi) and the Government Guesthouse (former Tonkin Palace). It featured a variety of art performances and a fashion show by many singers and representatives from the Vietnamese community in Western Australia. Le Thi Hong Loan, Chief of Child Protection at UNICEF Vietnam, shared the organisation's priorities both regionally and in Vietnam.
