Vietnam, which has seen rapid economic growth since the 1980s, continues to balance ambitions for increased prosperity with environmental concerns. Despite these measures, concerns remain about affordability, as the starting price for electric mopeds is around 500 euros--substantially higher than the monthly average salary in Hanoi, which is about 325 euros.
