ICICI Bank has lent to Videocon Group as part of a group of lenders and is not the leader of the group, the bank told the stock exchanges. “This committee was chaired by the chairman of ICICI Bank and it included independent and working directors of the bank. ICICI Bank also clarified that none of the investors of NuPower Renewables is a borrower. “Given this architecture, no individual employee, whatever may be his or her position, has the ability to influence the credit decision at the bank,” ICICI Bank said.
