In the video, the victim, only identified as Alloys, is made to kneel down by Cedric who asks him why he made out with his girlfriend Angel. Cedric was in the company of a friend only identified as Chinga and they make Alloys lie down before caning him continuously. Later, word went round that Cedric was posting suicidal updates on social media although this is yet to be officially confirmed. Kenyans online were outraged by the video and asked the DCI to act promptly. Others opined that Cedric should be locked up for his actions and advised university students to focus on their studies instead of fighting over women.
