Video of MBPP officers slammed for clamping car in OKU spot goes viral

GEORGE TOWN: A video of people venting their anger towards two Penang Island City Council (MBPP) officers went viral on social media today. The five-minute, 12-second video showed a silver Toyota Vios with its front right wheel clamped. The car is believed to have been parked at a spot for the disabled at Jalan Macalister. It is believed that the car did not display any 'OKU' sticker, which prompted council officers to clamp the car. The video then showed an elderly woman being pushed in a wheelchair by a younger woman, believed to be her daughter.
