Video of China 'clash' in Ladakh

The video, which surfaced a day ahead of army chief General Bipin Rawat's visit to Ladakh, also shows a soldier lying on the ground after being apparently hit by a stone. Army officials in Srinagar were tight-lipped about the authenticity of the video but confirmed that a clash took place on August 15, leaving several soldiers injured. The officials said Chinese troops tried to enter the Finger Four and Finger Five areas near the lake twice, between 6am and 9am, but were thwarted. China has denied its soldiers entered Indian territory and said it was committed to maintaining peace and tranquillity along the border. India and China have been locked in a tense border standoff in the India-China-Bhutan tri-junction area of Doklam since late June.
