Video gaming hardware and peripherals maker, Razer reported a first half loss of US$17.7 million compared with US$47.7 million for the six months ended June 30, 2019. Revenue for the first half increased by 25.3 percent from US$357.2 million in the six months ended June 30, 2019 to US$447.5 million. This was due to an increase in revenue from hardware and software and services businesses, the company said. Revenue from peripherals increased by 40.9 percent on year to US$252.7 million, mainly due to an overall increase in sales of mice, keyboards and audio devices, Razor said. Revenue from the systems segment increased by 4.6 percent on year from US$124.3 million to US$130.0 million, mainly due to sales from refreshed model lines.
