Last night, Buckingham Palace announced the sad news that King Charles has cancer. Although the palace has not revealed the type of cancer, it has been confirmed that His Majesty does not have prostate cancer. The problem was, however, discovered during his recent treatment for an enlarged prostate at The London Clinic. During an interview the day after the diagnosis was announced, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the cancer had been “caught early”. But he will continue state business and won't be handing over his constitutional roles as head of state.
