CAIRO – 8 April 2018: The Palestinian Maan News Agency published Sunday a video for a Palestinian woman reportedly shot by an Israeli sniper in Eastern Gaza.The woman appeared moving towards the Israel-Gaza barrier waving the Palestinian flag when a fire shot was heard and she fell on the ground. Dozens of protestors were seen running towards the woman to rescue her.The Palestinian news agency quoted Knesset Palestinian member Ahmed el-Teiby, who described the scene as “terrorism”. "France reminds the Israeli authorities of their duty to protect civilians and urges them to show the greatest restraint," a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said in a statement according to Reuters.Moreover, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders stated that he doesn't believe the official response from Israeli authorities that they were facing "violent terror demonstrations" in Gaza; CNN reported on Sunday.
