Victoria Rubadiri Trounces Global Competitors for International Gig

Citizen TV journalist Victoria Rubadiri was among 12 communication experts selected, on Thursday, April 20, to cover the global maternal health conference in South Africa after a competitive application process. Rubadiri joined three other Kenyans selected, including Daily Nation's Health and Science reporter, Leon Lidigu, and Deputy Digital Editor at The Star Nancy Agutu. In addition, it will be the first of its kind to be held after eight years and will be held after every two years to maintain, monitor and improve maternal health in the world. "The conference is the first biannual IMNHC, and in the future, an IMNHC will be held every two years to maintain our global progress towards improving maternal newborn health," noted IMNHC. The journalists will share information about the pathways to drive collaboration, coordination, and alignment within the maternal and newborn health community discussed during the conference.
