POLICE have defended their dramatic arrest of a 12-year-old boy which was captured on video in country Victoria. Footage shot by a bystander shows the handcuffed child being restrained by several officers at the Bendigo railway station. A woman civilian at the scene can be heard criticising the police treatment of the boy, who asks to be released.
