TORONTO — A Toronto college says three of its international students were the victims of a deadly crash over the weekend that police allege was caused by an impaired driver. Centennial College has released a statement saying two students died and another was badly injured in the Sunday evening crash, which saw a Mazda plow into three pedestrians. The college did not release the victims’ names or nationalities, but said the three were staying on the east-Toronto campus over the holidays. Toronto police have said a man lost control of his vehicle, mounted the sidewalk and struck a guardrail before hitting three pedestrians. Michael Johnson, of Pickering, Ont., faces multiple charges including operation of a conveyance causing death while impaired.
