Victims of apparent murder-suicide at Quebec nudist camp were shot, coroner says

A Quebec coroner says it appears three people found dead at a nudist campsite, possibly the result of a murder-suicide, were shot. Sanfaçon said it appears the love triangle hypothesis, which was also put forth by Quebec provincial police earlier in the day, appears to be the most plausible explanation for the deaths. Suzanne Gareau, 50, and Rodrigue Tremblay, 77, as well as the suspected shooter, Denys Carpentier, 76, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sgt. The events took place up to 24 hours before the bodies were found, Sanfaçon said. Police say it appears the deaths may be linked to a love triangle.
