The victim of Saturday morning’s fatal shooting in Mississauga has been identified as 23-year-old Deshawn Brandon Nicholson of Toronto. Police responded to a call at approximately 3:56 a.m. on Saturday about a disturbance on Queen St. S. in Mississauga; when they arrived on scene, said Const. Harinder Sohi of Peel Police, the victim had already succumbed to his injuries. The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau asks witnesses who may have been in the area of Mississauga’s 327 Queen St. S. to come forward with any information they may have. This information comes after two other persons were found seriously injured just a short distance away; police are unable to comment on whether the two incidents are linked.
