Calgay police have identified a man who was killed in a daytime shooting in the southwest community of Crestmont on Wednesday afternoon. Avinder Singh Toor, 37, was identified as the man killed following an autopsy. Toor's dog was also killed in the shooting, but police said the breed of the dog is unknown at this time. The shooting happened in the 500 block of Cresthaven Place S.W. The shooting took place in the 500 block of Cresthaven Place S.W.
