In the 2019 elections, Sotto — then councilor — ended the 27 years of the Eusebio clan dominating Pasig City when he garnered more than 200,000 votes. Former Rep. Robert “Dodot” Jaworski Jr. (Pasig City) also filed his COC on Friday morning for vice mayor, marking his bid for a comeback in politics.
