A large number of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) related to the civil aviation sector, signed at Vibrant Gujarat Summits, have failed to take-off, information provided by the state government in the state assembly on Monday, shows. The civil aviation minister said in a written reply in the House that 15 MoUs related to civil aviation were signed at the 2011 Vibrant Gujarat Summit and 12 at the 2013 Summit. "Of the 15 MoUs signed in 2011, eleven are in preliminary stages of implementation, and four have been cancelled. In the last edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit, i.e. Out of the 10 MoUs signed in 2015, eight are in preliminary stages of implementation and two are cancelled.
