THE soothing voice of visually-impaired Malaysian singer Alfred Ho took former schoolmates on a pleasant stroll down memory lane. Decades-long friendships were renewed and former experiences remembered as one evergreen melody after another, filled the air. The talented and seasoned performer was certainly the star of the Old Xaverians’ Association's (OXA) 3-in-1 Dinner in George Town, Penang. Khoo (third right) joining Old Xaverians’ Association committee members in singing the school anthem, The Alma Mater’s Call. Juggling two jobs proved a challenge, and he ultimately decided to follow his passion by venturing into music full time, once again heading to Kuala Lumpur to try his luck as an entertainer.
