Veteran journalist and political commentator Inder Malhotra passed away in Delhi on Saturday. Malhotra, 86 had been ailing for sometime and was admitted to a hospital where he breathed his last. He was the India correspondent for The Guardian from 1965-1978 and till recently contributed to various publications. A Panjab University alumnus, Malhotra received the Ramnath Goenka Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
