KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran Singaporean actor Osman Zailani has died at the age of 85. Hady said in his post that Osman died at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital at 9.30pm. She described him as an unmistakable presence in each drama series with his manly voice and dignified demeanour. "It was an honour to have him as my TV father. Actress Fauziah Ahmad Daud said she would always remember Osman as a fine actor who played her father in the 1990s drama series City of the Rich.
