New Zealand boxing coach Billy Meehan is confident about how his sole charge, David Nyika, will perform at the Olympics. Getting to an Olympics will be one of the biggest achievements in veteran boxing coach Billy Meehan’s long career. The Palmerston North man is the coach of the New Zealand boxing team for the Tokyo Olympics, which start this weekend. Meehan, who flew out at the weekend, has been a long-time coach as well as a boxer in his own right. As a coach he went to the 2010 Dehli Commonwealth Games and the Commonwealth championships in Liverpool in 2007.
