Veteran Otago thoroughbred trainer dies


Noel GrahamAbbotsford thoroughbred trainer Noel Graham died unexpectedly on Monday, aged 79. Graham was part of the Otago racing community for more than 30 years and was seldom without a handy galloper. Harry Trimbole won his last four starts for Graham before being exported to Australia.Graham also trained his dam, Greta’s Way, to win five races. Time Spent (five wins), Dave’s Luck (five wins) and Hartley Princess (four wins) were also good performers for Graham. Fly In Style won four races for Graham, including one on New Zealand Cup day in 1999.
