Presented for Record Store Day 2020, October 24, the release is a double album on coloured vinyl, presented in a gatefold sleeve. The Verlaines drummer Darren Stedman holds test vinyl pressings of Dunedin Spleen. Stephen Judge, owner of North Carolina record label Schoolkids Records suggested a vinyl release for Dunedin Spleen for Record Store Day — originally scheduled for April, but delayed by Covid-19 to October 24.
