Venkatesh Prasad resigned from the post of Chairman of the Indian Cricket team's junior selection committee, said Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) on Friday. Khanna said, "Venkatesh Prasad has resigned as Chairman of Junior Selection Committee." Venkatesh Prasad has resigned less than a month after India won the U-19 World Cup. However Prasad refused to budge. A TOI report quotes Venkatesh Prasad as saying that he has resigned to avoid potential conflict of interest.
