"I'm an all-party man (now), am above party politics," said Naidu, a former senior BJP minister in the Modi cabinet. "We must work together and try to take the country forward...we don't have the luxury of time...let's be guided by what the Constitutional role is for us. I've read speeches of great Parliamentarians," said Naidu, reeling off the names of Parliamentarians from across various parties.Then, Naidu made his comment about dynasty. "I was happy to hear that," said Naidu.Earlier, PM Modi too praised Naidu saying said it is a tribute to Indian democracy that people rise from humble and rural backgrounds to the highest constitutional positions. He added that many people who weren't landlords or educated families had reached the zenith of their profession because of democracy.
