He was speaking this Tuesday 23rd August 2016 after an audience granted by the Prime Minister and Head of Government Philemon Yang. After handing the sealed message the Ambassador extoled the relationship of both his country and Cameroon saying it is excellent and historic. Another aspect in their discussions likely to heighten cooperation ties between both countries was the notorious Boko Haram threats in the Far North Region. The Ambassador Daniel Cartaya Laya who serves four countries in the Sub-region including Cameroon had earlier presented his letter of accreditation to the Minister of External Relations Lejeune Mbella Mbella.
