The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) confirmed that seed testing had found a low level of velvetleaf contamination in the Feldherr 16UB131 fodder beet seed line. A fourth seed line has been found to be contaminated by the invasive pest weed velvetleaf. -Four fodder beet seed lines have been confirmed to be contaminated with velvetleaf. "Testing of other fodder beet seed lines is continuing and MPI will share information with farmers as it becomes available."
