The trailer of Wild Wild Punjab, much like its name, has the rugged and volatile setting of a Westerner, with Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh and Jassie Gill playing the unassuming protagonists. The premise is simple: a heartbroken man is egged on by his friends to confront his ex at her wedding and brag about ‘being over her’. Unfortunately, things don’t go according to plan on this road trip, with new women entering the fray, impromptu shootouts derailing the route, and the underworld entering the mix. Given Varun and Manjot’s camaraderie in the Fukrey series, we can’t wait to see what this group has in store for us, when the film releases on July 10.
