The Police Accountability Commission and the Committee on Reimagining Public Safety have made recommendations that have been implemented by the City Council and Police Department. The City mandates implicit bias training for police officers; but it must evaluate the effectiveness of that training. If training isn’t reducing racial disparities in traffic stops, then we need to find out what will.
