This time, they've partially destroyed a Japanese-era stone statue outside a Taipei City elementary school. He said he found it troubling to fengshui that such dog statues were guarding the nation's children along with a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen, founder of the R.O.C. Sources say that the dog statue was unearthed during construction around the school a decade before and placed by the school's entrance.
