IG news Update,The 112th edition of the PNE Fair is officially underway in East Vancouver. “It is no secret that this has been a challenging two and a half years for our organization,” said spokeswoman Laura Balance. She says she expects about 500,000 people to attend the fair this year, which is about 70 percent of the pre-pandemic attendance. A canoe carving showcase is among the new additions to the grounds this year. With ride passes sold out on Saturday, Balance says people should shop ahead to avoid disappointment.
