VANCOUVER—The Vancouver Art Gallery and the union representing its striking workers have agreed to take part in mediation Sunday, which will mark the sixth day of job action for the gallery’s approximately 200 workers. They walked off the job Tuesday morning after having rejected the gallery’s most recent offer. The union’s demanding wage increases that keep pace with inflation and the maintenance of a nine-day fortnight schedule for new employees.
