Vancouver Art Gallery strike ends after less than a week

Article Continued Below“They voted in favour, though they would have liked to see a higher percentage in wage increase,” said president Warren Williams on Tuesday. “But they understand part of the victory was holding the employer back from concessions.” The strike came after eight months of bargaining between the gallery and the union.
