By Daymond SteerCONWAY — Colin Van Ostern says voters who support Medicaid expansion should consider his candidacy for governor since he is one of the New Hampshire executive councilors who made it happen. "Far and away, I think the biggest public policy success we've had in the past four years has been the expansion of Medicaid," said Van Ostern. "As we are starting to tackle the serious opioid crisis, it's one of the best tools that we have," said Van Ostern. "We cannot be leaving so many people out of the economy as we are right now," said Van Ostern. "It sounds silly, but we are all human beings, and we can appreciate something more when you've seen it first-hand," said Van Ostern.
