The cash pile at the music firm owned by Van Morrison increased last year to €20.85m. Over the same period, the company’s cash funds rose by £1.08m from £16.99m to £18.07m. The ‘sold out’ sign also appears on four out of five of Morrison’s gigs later this month at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Knighted in 2016 for his musical achievements and services to tourism and charitable causes in Northern Ireland, Morrison’s output shows no sign of slowing down either. He has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame.
