Fox News Media announced on Tuesday that it’s launching a daily one-hour Spanish-language program called “Fox Noticias” that is designed to “spotlight” issues impacting the Hispanic community beginning October 15th. The new show will be hosted by Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy and will air on weekdays at 4 PM/ET on Fox Deportes. The site will feature breaking news reporting and signature commentary for the Hispanic audience, and it can be found at Noticias.FOXNews.com. Fox News’s decision to create programming designed to appeal to a Hispanic demographic audience could potentially represent an enormous shift in the network’s approach and growth strategy. Overall, the network delivers 36% of the Hispanic cable news total viewing share and 45% of the 25-54 demographic.
