Leg break injury to Thames Valley prop against Buller in Heartland Championship AARON GOILEAARON GOILE/STUFF Thames Valley prop Hayden Anderson is transferred into an ambulance after suffering what appeared to be a serious knee injury in his side's Heartland Championship rugby match against Buller in Paeroa. A serious injury in the Heartland Championship match between Thames Valley and Buller delayed play for over an hour at the Paeroa Domain on Saturday. Only around five minutes had been played, with the hosts ahead 7-0 in the round-four game, before Thames Valley loosehead prop Hayden Anderson went down with what appeared to be an injury to his left leg. Thames Valley coach Matthew Bartleet later said Anderson had broken the tibia in his leg and required morphine. Thames Valley recovered from the injury blow to win 26-7 while also securing a bonus point by scoring four tries to one.
