more-inTen years of wait has not gone in vain for the rape victims of Vakapalli. The Supreme Court on Friday vacated the stay filed by the 12 accused policemen and ordered a speedy trial. Of the 11 rape victims, two have died over the period of 10 years. They exhibited raw courage and fought tooth and nail to get the stay vacated. From the beginning, the police have been denying the allegations and the CB-CID report exonerated the 20 policemen.
