An Auckland man says he has been living a waking "nightmare" since his best man's visitor visa was declined over what he believes to be unclear visa requirements. ANDREI GALTSOV Andrei Galtsov and his fiancee and daughter had their visitor visa applications declined because INZ was not convinced they were genuine visitors. Andrei's application was declined as he "did not meet the requirements set out in visitor visa immigration instructions," she said. While Andrei has re-applied for a visa, Ivan said he has almost given up hope that it will be approved in time. Most visitor visa applications have been handled in INZ's Beijing and Mumbai offices since the department began processing visa by "product stream" (business, education or tourism) rather than location, she noted.
