VN receives 30 tons of aid relief to help flood victimsThe National Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention received 30 tons of aid relief to help flood victims in the northern mountainous provinces at Noi Bai International Airport yesterday. As plan, the donation will be sent to flood victims in the provinces of Son La, Yen Bai and Nghe An where suffered serious damages after a week-long siege of flashflood and landslide. On the same day, the Ministry of Health launched a fund to help flood-affected people in the Northwest provinces after a week long siege of flashfloods and downpours. Yesterday, the Central Fatherland Front Committee of Vietnam yesterday contributed VND 105million to help flood-affected provinces in the north-west region. On behalf of all staffs and officials, the minister sent VND 1.5 billion to the People’s Committee of Yen Bai province.
