The deputy minister added that President Vo Van Thuong’s invitation to Pope Francis to visit Vietnam reflects the Vietnamese State’s goodwill. The project will reduce the travel time from Tuyen Quang Province to the capital city of Hanoi to nearly two hours. The province is committed to preserving and promoting its cultural identity, aiming to stand out on the path of heritage in Central Vietnam. The Vietnamese diplomat cited UNICEF Representative in Vietnam Rana Flowers as saying that Vietnam is an active, proactive and responsible member in multilateral processes. Regarding development, Ambassador Giang emphasized that Vietnam continued to demonstrate its strong commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
