Wanlov in a response to an earlier publication with the headline 'VGMA should rather ban Blakk Cedi – Wanlov' tweeted that, his advice was directed to Stonebwoy and not the VGMA board as reported. I say dey for fine the person e gives the stone the gun & stone for ban am for giving am gun instead of using the gun to protect stone. In an exclusive interview on TV3, Wanlov suggested that the VGMA board was unfair to the musicians as their actions on that night do not deserve such punishment. Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale lost their legibility for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominations and selections after the two fought at the just 2019 VGMAs.
