At the New York offices of Varonis Systems, CEO Yaki Faitelson is crashing a meeting with Accel investor Kevin Comolli. Accel London got its start when at the height of the dotcom bubble in 2000, longtime leader Jim Breyer decided the firm should look to expand its operations into Europe. Looking for people who knew London, Breyer called Comolli, an old Harvard Business School classmate at a private equity firm there.
